The Signalling Design team are excited to welcome a driven and passionate Signal Design Drafting Officerto join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be part of a proud, inclusive, supportive, and respectful team that is engaged, empowered and innovative.
In this role, you will receive ongoing mentoring, on the job training and professional development, as well as support from our experienced subject matter experts and the wider teams. Responsibilities include:
- Drafting of Signalling engineering circuits for new and altered infrastructure projects for both SEQ and Regional Qld.
- Collaborate with stakeholders regarding all technical drafting aspects of various projects.
- Actively participate as a team member to support and implement process improvement.
- Stay up to date on industry standards.
Who we are seeking:
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about the contributing to the quality, safety, and reliability of rail transport, takes pride in their work, be highly motivated, are keen to work in a fun, energetic, supportive environment and have a commitment to learn.
Prior experience within the Signalling field and knowledge of AS3000 would be advantageous not required.

Qualifications at the time of application:
- General Electrical Mechanic Licence or higher.
- Current unrestricted National Drivers Licence.
Employment Type/Remuneration:
The position is permanent fulltime and based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $83,000 plus 12.75% superannuation with hybrid work option to support the balance between work and personal commitments.
