What you'll do:
- Work within a multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver a range of civil engineering design projects
- Coordinate design and documentation with other engineering and drafting disciplines and with other team members
- Carry out assigned project and CAD design work as part of an integral team adhering to technical and commercial standards
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be committed to team approach and outcomes
- Support other sectors of the business on project activities ranging from feasibility to detailed CAD design
- Provide ongoing continuous improvement and development inputs to create more efficient workflows within the team
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of CAD technical standards and workflows
- Be prepared to take a lead CAD role on select projects within a civil or multi-discipline environment
- Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience of civil design and drafting of roads (for heavy and light vehicles), water management infrastructure (dams, levees & pipelines), hardstands and stockpile pads and other civil engineering infrastructure
- AutoCAD 3D experience is essential, and 12D or civil 3D experience advantageous, but not required.
- Previous mining/industrial infrastructure experience not essential but highly regarded
