Design and Estimating Manager - QLD

Keller Australia is currently seeking an experienced Design and Estimating Manager to join our team in Brisbane.

• Coordinate the Design and Estimating work required during projects, managing the production of technical designs. 
• Review tender schedules and prepare cutting edge expressions of interest and tender submissions for major projects.
• Identify potential projects in the marketplace and support by identifying requirements and conceptual design proposals.
• Ensure tenders and budgets costs and productions are achievable, ensuring proposed works can be constructed safely.
• Management of the Design and Estimating team during the full employment cycle including performance management.

We are seeking candidates with the ability to drive performance excellence, strong leadership skills and a passion for the industry.

• University degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• 10 to 15 years’ experience in design engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding of the civil and resources markets and contracting models.
• Strong leadership skills to lead and coordinate a team.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to aid in the development of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
