The Role: As a Senior Estimator, you'll be instrumental in the accurate costing and financial analysis of construction projects. This role offers a clear path for progression into an Estimating Manager position, where you will oversee the estimating department and ensure the delivery of accurate and competitive bids. Reporting directly to the Director, this role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's strategic direction and sit on the management board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed cost analyses and prepare estimates for construction projects.
- Lead the estimating team, providing guidance and support in the preparation of bids.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure comprehensive project costing.
- Implement estimating strategies that enhance competitiveness and efficiency.
- Participate in tender reviews and negotiations.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making as a key member of the management team.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator with experience in large scale townhouse developments and apartments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex estimates.
- Exceptional leadership qualities and the capability to mentor and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and staying abreast of industry trends.
- Jobpac experience is ideal but not essential
