Managing a team of Designers across a variety of womenswear categories, it is a large portfolio and also a growth category for the company.
The company is also open to a Strong Senior Designer with previous leadership experience keen to step into a strategic leadership role...previous experience within a high volume business would be advantagious
With a strong eye for trends and proven experience taking catwalks trends and creating commercial stories for a mass market customer.
To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the key skills and experience:
- Experience operating at an established Design Manager or Senior Designer level
- Strong experience managing product timelines
- Experience building commercial profitable ranges
- Implementing direction and innovation for the season across shape, print, fabric and trim.
- Communicating effectively with all internal and external teams
- Overseeing the development of all sampling ensuring deadlines are met.
- People management and strong collaboration with the rest of the team
- Strong hands-on department management experience; product development and critical path, supply base, trading, working cross-functionally with sales and Production teams
- Management experience of direct reports would be ideal; training and developing
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management both internally and externally
- MS Office and IT skills
