About the Role The Design Engineer is responsible for the design of systems, subsystems and components of military vehicles and equipment over the product life cycle. The Design Engineer is an integral part of the Engineering Capability Matrix and will conduct work within cross functional project specific teams.
As Design Engineer, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include: The duties of the Design Engineer include, but not limited to: Conceive and select concepts in response to Requirements using a range of tools and methods including weighted Trade Off Studies, FMECA, 3D modeling (Catia) etc. ; Realise selected concepts into documented prototype designs using integrated PDM/CAD (TEAMCENTER/Catia); Support manufacture and verification of prototypes and incorporate test results as…
