About the role:
We have an exciting role available for a Designer & Product Developer to join our Stylerunner Team. Reporting to the Head Designer your responsibilities will include being responsible for the design and development of a group of apparel product as well as our growing accessories range, taking ownership of styles from conception through pre-production.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing apparel products as well as our growing accessories range
- Accessories development and sourcing
- Taking ownership of styles from conception through pre-production.
- Trend forecasting and concept development, interpreting trends and translating them into commercial product deliveries.
- Range building and sketching, presenting CAD’s and storyboards for design sign off
- Working with a garment technician to perfect garment fits
- Liaising with offshore suppliers
- Demonstrated experience across product development within the retail industry
- Understanding of fashion and activewear fabrications, silhouettes and construction techniques
- Experience with pre-production approval processes - Lab dips, strikes offs, prototyping, sample approvals
- Strong understanding of the Stylerunner consumer
- High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
