About the role
As the Destination Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you will develop and implement brand and marketing strategies to promote our Ridges & Rivers projects, together with managing stakeholder and local community communications.
Ridges & Rivers is a collection of three signature outdoor attractions; the Warburton Mountain Bike Destination, Yarra Valley Trail, and ngurrak barring (RidgeWalk). These projects are at the heart of our vision for eco-tourism and community prosperity for our region and this role will help consolidate Yarra Ranges as a world-class trails’ destination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compelling brand strategies for the Warburton Mountain Bike Destination, ngurrak barring (RidgeWalk), and Yarra Valley Trail.
- Lead the development and execution of Destination Marketing campaigns, leveraging both digital platforms and media relations to maximise reach and impact.
- Coordinate and manage communications with all stakeholders, including funding partners, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
- Utilise your storytelling skills to plan and generate engaging content, including still images and videos, to document and promote project developments, enhancing community engagement and brand awareness.
- Build and maintain strong connections with local communities through effective communication strategies, fostering awareness, advocacy and local pride and connection to the projects.
- Oversee the online presence of ngurrak barring, Yarra Valley Trail, and Warburton Mountain Bike Destination across various social media platforms.

- Option to take up a monthly RDO
- Full-time 2-year contract position (Essential work during peak period OR Specific skills for specified project or task) (38 hours per week).
- Salary from $104,442 to $112,677 (Band 7) per annum, plus 11% superannuation.
