ABOUT THE POSITION.
For this role, you will report to the Team Leader and you will be responsible for assessing development applications (DAs), coordinating Council reports for planning panels and evaluating and reporting on medium and complex development applications.
DUTIES.
- Coordinating Council reports to planning panels
- Assessing and reporting on medium and complex DAs and liaising with the public and developers
- Preparing and obtaining approvals for development projects
- Negotiating with Local Council members to gain approval for development proposals
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor's degree in Urban/Town Planning or related
- Strong ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Understanding of NSW Planning Legislation/controls
- Previous experience working for Local Council is preferred
