Wellcamp Business Park has an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate Development Manager to join a vigorous and forward-thinking firm, constantly achieving excellent outcomes for their and their client's projects. This is a new position to work in an expanding and dynamic business, managing multiple projects as the pipeline grows.
About Us
Wellcamp Business Park is a master planned, Community titled, approximately 500hectare Business Park Estate located adjacent to the Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport, with easy access to the Toowoomba Bypass. The Business Park features a road train capable internal road network that supports the aviation export precinct, as well as tenant with a mining, warehousing and manufacturing focus.

You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality industrial, commercial, infrastructure and residential developments. Your focus on the customer, Project Vision, and commercial outcomes is essential in displaying your ability to manage and drive strong engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Managing the end-to-end development process, from conceptualisation to completion.
- Conducting feasibility studies and due diligence on potential projects.
- Negotiating and securing project financing, permits, and approvals.
- Coordinating project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Monitoring project progress, budgets, and quality control.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles..
- Support project sales and marketing.
- Continually research and monitor markets.
Skills and experience:
- Design and delivery experience, including preparation of Development Applications for built form and civil construction
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams.
- Project, cost and risk management expertise.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Customer focused.
- Proactive and results driven.
- Construction White Card.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering (preferred)
