The OpportunityLithgow City Council has an attractive opportunity for a professionally focussed planner to join our Development Planning team and work across both rural and urban environments.
Lithgow is a central location for a regional lifestyle and great outdoor recreational activities, and is also only a few hours drive from Sydney. Lithgow lies adjacent to the new Gardens of Stone State Conservation Area and Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, while being less than 30 minutes drive to Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, and 45 minutes drive to Bathurst.
In the role of Development Planner you will provide Development Planning services across both urban and rural areas. You will be responsible for the assessment and reporting of development applications and associated planning functions. As a Development Planner you will utilise your specialist and technical expertise to work with a broad range of customers to contribute to the economic development, residential liveability and environmental sustainability of our diverse region.
Council is looking to make an exciting appointment to this position, and is open to discussions with the right candidate to join our wider team. We offer a fortnightly RDO arrangement and a broad range of professional development opportunities.

- Between $86,086 and $95,669.60 per annum, commensurate with your skills, qualifications and experience. Additional remuneration may be available for an exceptional candidate.
