Form of work DevOps Engineer
Green Light Australia are currently looking for experienced and driven DevOps Engineerto join our delivery team. You will have solid DevOps experience with strong API design and development background.
To be successful in this engagement the DevOps Engineer will come from a good mix of operations and software engineering background. Green Light are looking for a proactive individual to join our innovative and collaborative environment and work on cutting edge projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and deployment teams to execute software deployment plans seamlessly.
- Craft and update automated deployment scripts for application software products.
- Responsible for overseeing infrastructure and test environment management, which encompasses monitoring and ensuring observability.
- Deploy code in cloud-native environments (AWS) utilizing CI/CD tools for efficient delivery.
- Provide technical support for infrastructure and test environment management, including monitoring and observability.
- Troubleshoot and investigate environment-related issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, focusing on automating the building, testing, and deployment of software changes.
- Identify and execute opportunities for continuous improvement to automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the Release Manager to plan and coordinate releases effectively.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps roles.
- Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker, to streamline deployment processes and enhance scalability and portability.
- Proficiency in automating workloads on AWS.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, .NET, Ruby, or Java.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Agile mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Australian Citizen is a must, desirable to have baseline or higher clearance.
