THE ROLE
1) Maintenance
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment
- Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defect
- Perform all work tasks in accordance with Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety and Environmental Analyses (JSEAs)
- Read and understand all safety documentation related to the work being undertaken
- Follow all company policies and procedures as detailed in the employee handbook and/or Collective Agreement
- Complete all necessary documentation according to company policies including training records, plant maintenance sheets and travel expenditure vouchers
- Work harmoniously with all team members.
- Respect diversity in work teams
- Work under the instruction of the Workshop Supervisor
- Only operate equipment for maintenance purposes or for which you are have been/are being trained and/or are licensed to operate
- Read and understand all aspects of the operator’s manual before operating
- Operate plant in accordance with the manufacturer’s manual and /or directives from the company
- Trade Qualified with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledgeable of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Must have a good customer service
- Knowledgeable of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Knowledgeable of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Has attention to detail, innovative, persistent, and integrity
