AddressWorkfast is seeking a full time Plant Mechanic/Lead Hand to join a growing business based in Wetherill Park, paying $50-$60/hr + Super, 50-65 hrs/week
The opportunity available is to join a large and growing business that specialises within materials recycling and reuse throughout the Civil Infrastructure space. Focussing on recycling construction waste to create performance engineered circular construction materials and solutions. Providing recycled alternatives to resource use in civil and infrastructure construction.
What you get
- Pay Rate - Up to $60/hr + OT & Penalties (Dependant on experience)
- Mon-Fri 6am starts (latest 5pm finish)
- Saturdays 6am-12pm (Latest 1pm)
- Avg 10hr Days Mon-Fri.
- Average 55hrs Per Week
- Workshop based role/fixed work location.

- Managing a team currently of 1-2 Mechanics
- Grow and manage a team of mechanics across Sydney as the business continues to expand and grow
- Completing all required paperwork accurately and effectively
- Diagnosis, repairs, routine inspection and servicing of equipment and machinery
- Working on Front End Loaders, Crushers, and Excavators.
- Fully qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- High Risk Ticket preferred (Excavator etc)
- Experience in Mining/Crushing preferred
- Lead Hand experience preferred
- Experience in repairing Plant Equipment
