We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Workshop Mechanic / Field Service Diesel Mechanic to be based out of our Dry Creek Depot. The successful applicant will enjoy a good variety of Field Service and workshop duties on a range of plant, vehicles and equipment. You will carry out servicing, repairs and planned maintenance on road and earthmoving equipment.
You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties in a customer focused manner. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:
- Be trade qualified with appropriate relevant experience.
- Manual HR license (not essential).
- Perform effective fault diagnosis on a variety of equipment.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Possess the capacity and willingness to be "hands on".
- Be experienced in servicing of both passenger and heavy vehicles.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance in a timely and effective manner.
- Have excellent organizational, communication and reporting skills.
- Have good computer skills.
- Demonstrate a sound awareness of OH&S management principles.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
