- Hourly Rate: $29.56 p/hr - $31.80 p/hr plus 25% casual loading | AHA2
As the Dietetic Allied Health Assistant, you will provide assistance and support to the Dietetic & Nutrition Department in the delivery of Dietetic Allied Health Services to patients. You will be expected to prioritise workload and will support the Dietetics & Nutrition team, liaise with food service, nursing staff and patients concerning the provision of special diets and escalate patients with poor oral intake to the dietitian for nutrition management plans.
In this role you will be expected to perform a range of duties in the dietetic food service area including preparation and checking of Delegate and diet order reports prior to meal cut off times and preparing late meal orders for diet changes after cut off times. Your role includes involvement in continual liaison with catering and where you will provide assistance to Dietetic & Nutrition staff as well as communication with nursing staff and patients.
You must be eligible to undertake Allied Health Assistance Certificate Level 3/4 training.
