About the Role:
Are you a dynamic individual with a flair for design, a strategic mindset, and a knack for digital marketing? We want you to join our ambitious and collaborative team as a Digital and Communications Coordinator. This onsite 16-month full-time Maternity Leave Contract role, with the possibility of extension, offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact. You'll work under the guidance of the Design Manager and Operations Manager, playing a pivotal role in executing our digital strategy and enhancing our brand presence.
Responsibilities:
As our Digital and Communications Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the execution of our digital strategy and social media activities across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Maintaining and updating our website and ecommerce site.
- Assisting with the production and distribution of newsletters and EDMs utilising Mailchimp.
- Collating and reporting on analytics across all digital channels.
- Producing and updating internal and external communication collateral including, print and digital advertising, catalogues, brochures, signage and client presentations through graphic design and copy.
- Researching and sourcing content for a variety of internal and external communication pieces.
- Assisting with running events, managing promotion and creating promotional materials.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of brand strategies that align with our business goals and elevate our market presence.
- Coordinating PR, conference exhibitions, video, and photo shoot activities to showcase our products and projects.
- Keeping a keen eye on industry trends and social media best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Handling ad-hoc administration duties to support the Executive Team.
Essential Skills:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, graphic design or related field with a minimum of three years of experience in a relevant marketing and Communications role.
- A proven track record of success in digital marketing and Communications.
- Intermediate knowledge of Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly, Photoshop.
- Intermediate knowledge of WordPress, Shopify and MailChimp platforms.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional presentation and outstanding attention to detail.
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A positive energy with a 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Ability to forward plan, schedule and manage priorities.
- High motivation and the ability to think outside the box.
