Job description
The Digital Applications Specialist exists to provide Digital and SaaS application subject matter expertise to the business and provide technical leadership and governance to managed service providers while assuring the ongoing operational excellence associated with the digital and web-based application landscape.
In collaboration with the Technology Applications management, take full responsibility for the Digital applications lifecycle and participate in the roadmap for delivering solutions and services that contributes to business performance and enables Endeavour Energy’s strategy including;
Functional
Executes relevant Service Management processes to drive consistent service delivery for incidents, problems, change and requests related to Technology application platforms.
Participate in the development of the Digital Applications strategy and roadmap.
Design and maintain sustainable, secure, reliable and high performing digital solutions and services to meet business needs, considering integration with legacy services.
Manage the design of digital solutions in support of refreshes and/or upgrades or other system/application integrations with existing solutions.
Implement plans for the reliable operation of the key platforms, including disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Manages and maintains timely and accurate system documentation including change requests, technical and user guides, software asset and configuration registers, problem and resolution knowledge bases and other technical documentation
Plans the development of new requirements, features and functionality to meet business requirements
Provides technical support and training for digital applications including escalation and resolution to external service providers in line with service management and delivery standards,
Leads the development of life cycle plans for digital services and solutions
Collaborates with Technology Program Delivery for the implementation of projects, changes and releases.
Provides data and input for regular performance and risk management reporting on a monthly basis, including indicators of customer experience and service, as well as overseeing vendor SLA reporting.
Manages external Service Providers related to the Digital & SaaS application managed services, controlled environment.
Gathers & documents business requirements for minor system enhancements/changes and liaises with the vendors for delivery through a DevOps manner

Maintains an awareness of enterprise level digital technologies, solutions and industry trends.
Builds and sustains relationships with customers, expert users and service providers.
Drives continuous improvement activities to promote best practice and progress effective business and systems operations through standardization and improvement simplification.
Builds capability through delivery of process and technology solution to deliver improved performance in line with the Technology Division strategic plans and objectives.
Provides, sets and promotes excellent customer service standards within the Technology branch and to the business.
Performs quality reviews of vendor documentation and change processes
