Purpose of the Role
Be part of a team of delivery specialists in creating the best digital experiences for our customers. You’ll find yourself engaging with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure all parts of the features we deliver meet or exceed expectations as part of a complex financial system.
You’ll be a part of a significant strategy to create and maintain Australia’s best web based digital platforms for quoting, selling and managing insurance policies. With a key focus being customer experience, the platforms allow our customers channel of choice without compromise of experience.
As a key member of a delivery team, the Business Analyst works closely with the Product Owner, development and other business functions to ensure any requirements are documented clearly and consistently. Ensuring they are fit for purpose, both within business needs and system constraints as part of collaboration with the delivery team. Additionally, you’ll work closely with our UX/UI team who have a track record of relentless customer representation.
Position Accountabilities
Engage and perform key Agile duties with your delivery team; typically running workshops, estimation sessions and produce agile artefacts Actively participate, contribute, and execute against a Community of Practice to ensure alignment across the Business Analyst role in the delivery process. Work closely with CX/UX and UI Specialists to ensure consistency of customer experience Research As-is processes to identify and define the problem space. Interact with stakeholders to analyse their needs and facilitate the process to identify solutions. Work closely with all stakeholders (business, E2E team, and PO) to prevent any gaps between the proposed solution and the implementation. Evaluate the solution’s feasibility and impact on various stakeholders and/or existing areas of the business. Work alongside a dedicated team and in coordination with a Product Owner to produce Prototypes, Requirements, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria for your delivery team Help PO to plan the delivery of the proposed solution. Produce in-depth documentation of all requirements and the business solution so that stakeholders, the development team, and the test team all have a clear understanding of the agreed solution. Manage changes to business requirements and perform a risk assessment. Review Test cases to ensure that all business scenarios are covered. During the testing phase, collaborate with the test team to ensure the solution is accurate and free of bugs and issues. Collaborate with end-users to help them understand the changes and adopt the new solution.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in an Agile environment Experience with:
Large and complex technology stacks Stakeholder engagement and management
Significant web ecommerce experience In depth understanding of User Experience & Design (UX/UI) principles and practices
