An initial 6 month contract for a Senior Business Analyst to be based in Northern Brisbane has come up to work in one of the leading energy organisations.This specific program includes drawing and document management and supports secondary systems' configuration management. Our client offer a hybrid working model and are very flexible and supportive of individual requirementsFree on-site parking in their Virginia based officesOpportunity to work on an end-of-life programResponsibilities:Facilitate workshops to elicit detailed requirements on processes, systems, information and People Map current and future state business processesAnalyse requirements to develop user stories, use cases and scenariosPrepare high-quality documentation, including specifications, analysis, traceability, and testing artefacts.Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, program team, consultants, and vendorsUpdate work instructions and process documentation for system transitionsSupport the development of a detailed plan for data migration, including data cleansing, mapping, and transformation requirements to ensure that legacy data is accurately and efficiently migrated to the new systemContribute by identifying potential risks associated with business processes, system requirements, and data migrationDefine role-based access matrices in conjunction with business stakeholdersSupport the Change Manager in creating communication plans, training, and engagement strategiesSupport the Training Lead with the translation of process information to training materialsContribute to the implementation plan, methodologies, and capability enhancementConduct post-implementation reviews to assess the system's performance against expected outcomes, including identifying areas for improvement, capturing lessons learned, and making recommendations for future enhancement About you:A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the energy sector and IT projects, demonstrating a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilitiesProven experience with similar tools and systems, such as Hexagon SDx or other drawing and document management systems or SaaS implementation projectsDemonstrated experience configuring forms and creating workflows.
