About the role:
This is a unique opportunity to enhance your digital knowledge within a collaborative and supportive team environment. Working closely with experienced professionals you gain exposure to end to end delivery within the ecommerce lifecycle of our digital platforms.
To succeed in this role, you will have strong all-round BA skills (minimum 3 years'), a background in digital (web, mobile, ecommerce etc) and be able to build a great rapport with business stakeholders.
You will join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a large variety of programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 200 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing, helping you grow in the "how" while delivering the "what". You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.
What you'll do
- Build strong relationships through engagement with customers, colleagues, and other key stakeholders
- Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesize information accurately, completely, and coherently.
- Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
- Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
- Create detailed user stories to support delivery.
- Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.
- Guide the business through UAT to sign off, managing any post-implementation changes
- Working in an Agile continuous delivery environment and be responsible for analysing and documenting requirements, facilitate workshops and design solution sessions
What you'll bring
- 3+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in a technical capacity
- Existing experience working with teams like Protect, DET, Analytics, App Health, OSP, AEM (Highly regarded)
- Good understanding of API and API Integration concepts
- Advanced understanding of Agile development practices
- Previous experience working with software development teams
- Experience in design & implementation for digital platforms and/or cloud technologies
- Track record of working in a fast-paced collaborative cross-functional environment
