What you’ll deliver with us
The AV/VC Technology Specialist is part of the 3rd level support team responsible for delivering and running the Productivity and Collaboration Services platform for the Australia Post Group on premise or through public cloud providers. The goal of this role is to provide collaboration platform support to ensure our internal IT services are running effectively. This involves ensuring the platform meets a high quality standard, delivers business value in a cost effective and timely manner.
You’ll also
- Run and coordinate Livestream events
- Provide 3rd level support for Livestreaming tools and services
- Supply technical support by actioning incident tickets associated with the service environment in line with Service Level Agreements
- Produce implementation plans and risk analysis as required to deploy vital changes
- Contribute to the improvement of key measures, metrics and service levels set for Service Management including Incident, Request, Problem and Change
- Utilise you knowledge of Productivity Platform technologies (O365/Exchange/SharePoint/PowerShell)
- Construct and distribute software releases for vendor and platform upgrades including version reporting
About you
Reporting directly into the Productivity & Collaboration Platforms Manager you will work to ensure the production environment is protected through change control, preventing any disruption to services outside of agreed maintenance windows. You will be a motivated self-starter who has strong Livestreaming experience. We are looking for a strong communicator who has experience operating communication and collaboration platforms, including both cloud and on-premise. Having experience in Cisco and Microsoft technologies is advantageous for this role.
You’ll also need
- Proven experience working with video conferencing/audio visual/Livestream technologies especially with core products Cisco and Blackmagic Design
- Familiarity with Microsoft Collaboration platforms, digital signage platforms (Appspace), and meeting room technologies. This role focuses on Microsoft Teams
- Strong communication especially when engaging with vendors in a workshop environment
Proficient knowledge of AV systems & Design (Crestron, Extron, AV over IP, Dante)
Background in supporting large, complex and critical Operational IT environments
Understanding of streaming design & hardware (Audio, Vision & Lighting)
