Talent International is currently recruiting for a Digital Communications Coordinator to work for an NSW Government client based in Leichhardt. This is contract role 2-months contract with the view to be extended. The role is paying between $45 – $52/hour + Super.
8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
Primary purpose of the role
Develop accessible and engaging digital content to support the achievement of client’s priorities and program objectives, including developing and implementing user guides and training to support internal stakeholders to produce high quality content for the intranet, website and trackable email campaigns.
Key accountabilities
- Develop and write targeted, engaging and plain English digital content, including copy, video and graphics, that is customer focused and follows digital best practice.
- Produce regular reports on the performance of digital channels against Key Performance Indicators and recommend improvements.
- Complete user research and testing of digital content and products to ensure content meets customer service and accessibility standards.
- Provide support, advice and training in content management system, email marketing platform, social media management and Google Analytics to internal stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to turn complex information into easy to understand, web ready content.
- Ensure that content published on digital channels meets WCAG, brand and style guide requirements.
- Manage relationships with third party suppliers and other NSW Government agencies.
Essential requirements

- Current NSW Drivers licence.
- Basic knowledge of HTML.
- Experience using graphic design and video production tools.
Key knowledge and experience
- Qualifications and/or relevant experience in design platforms, email marketing platforms, content management systems and Google Data Studio.
- Proven experience formatting complex and lengthy content into user focused digital content.
- Proficient in the use of EDM campaign tracking and reporting, search engine optimization (SEO) and accessibility best practice.
- High-level written and oral communications skills with the ability to write compelling information that achieves objectives and reinforces key messaging.
- Strong understanding of best-practice communication principles, awareness of current and emerging communication trends and ability to apply this knowledge to day-to-day activities.
- Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues within the team, department, directorate and broader organisation.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills, the ability to monitor and measure performance of campaigns and other communications and to use this information to drive continuous improvement.
- Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a willingness to contribute to the overall goals of the client Marketing and Communications Team.
