Exciting opportunity for a Digital Communications specialist to join our government client in developing accessible and engaging digital content!
As a Digital Communications coordinator, you will enhance the client's online presence and engage stakeholders through effective digital channels.
Key accountabilities
- Develop and write targeted, engaging and plain English digital content, including copy, video and graphics, that is customer focused and follows digital best practice
- Produce regular reports on the performance of digital channels against Key Performance Indicators and recommend improvements
- Complete user research and testing of digital content and products to ensure content meets customer service and accessibility standards
- Provide support, advice and training in content management system, email marketing platform, social media management and Google Analytics to internal stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to turn complex information into easy to understand, web ready content
- Ensure that content published on digital channels meets brand and style guide requirements
- Manage relationships with third party suppliers
- Relevant experience in design platforms, email marketing platforms, content management systems and Google Data Studio.
- Proven experience formatting complex and lengthy content into user focused digital content.
- Proficient in the use of EDM campaign tracking and reporting, search engine optimization (SEO) and accessibility best practice.
- Strong understanding of best-practice communication principles, awareness of current and emerging communication trends and ability to apply this knowledge to day-to-day activities.
