We’re looking to hire an exceptional Digital Marketing Manager and Events Coordinator to help drive our traffic, customer engagement and conversion metrics through organic and paid channels for both the retail and wholesale channels of our business. 

About the role: 

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, events, systems, and processes, to drive new customer and sales acquisition, growth, and retention, and provide cross-functional marketing support for other teams engaged in customer service delivery. 

There will be a focus on:

  • Driving brand awareness, customer growth and retention for both the retail and wholesale customer base
  • Achieving online sales targets with allocated budgets as well as maximising the brand’s current online experience
  • Delivering creative and engaging marketing activities, and outstanding consumer experiences across all digital touchpoints within the Bellissimo Coffee environment
  • Helping to create and deliver an engaging events program to attract and educate existing wholesale partners and potential future partners as well as to elevate Bellissimo Coffee's brand in the industry

Digital Marketing Manager and Events Coordinator

You will create, own and drive Bellissimo Coffee’s digital strategy and marketing calendar, and work closely with the Digital Engagement Coordinator and other key stakeholders to execute strategies and campaigns to a high standard of execution and performance. Key responsibilities of your role include: 

  • Leading the direction of our marketing activity across the business and building up individuals to become a high-performing team, passionate about driving results
  • Creating and managing Bellissimo Coffee’s marketing strategy, ensuring the strategy and plan is communicated across the business create alignment within all departments and teams 
  • Identifying, evaluating, and implementing new digital and omni-channel marketing and sales opportunities, processes, and platforms relevant to the company, to attract, develop and convert new and existing sales leads
  • Creating and managing marketing budgets and digital media spend 
  • Developing campaigns for target audiences and regions, recommending growth strategies and investment based off historical performance and audience segmentation
  • Promoting and coordinating events for target audiences including existing wholesale partner cafes, prospects of future wholesale partners and people within and outside of the coffee community and the broader public
  • Overseeing seasonal promotional strategies across the Bellissimo Coffee online store and physical stores
  • Providing and communicating cyclical reports including progress, performance, and results
  • Analysing and evaluating the end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Establishing analytics dashboards and key reports to provide valuable insights and performance data back to the broader team 
  • Acting as a point of contact between marketing and the broader teams, and supporting the creation of marketing materials for all café venues as needed
  • Managing any externally appointed digital agencies, preparing briefs, budgets, and reporting

  • In-house photographer/videographer
  • IT/Graphic Design team
  • Wordpress Developer and SEO Specialist
  • Retail Manager and Venue Managers
  • Chefs and kitchen team 
  • Financial Controller
  • General Manager for the Wholesale and Partner Care Team 

What You’ll Bring: 

We will be looking for people who are passionate about our brand and mission, obsessed with data, and can find and optimise every channel for growth. The below list of skills and traits applies to both roles, unless otherwise stated for a particular role.

Essential:

  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering marketing strategies, campaigns, and projects
  • Knowledge of consumer buying behaviour principles and customer journey funnels 
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to leverage data, analytics, and customer behaviour trends to drive action resulting in growth of online traffic and sales
  • Knowledge and experience in budgeting, building, and running paid digital advertising campaigns across Google and Facebook, and measuring ROI of such investments
  • Experience in database segmentation and email automation
  • Experience in managing multiple social media pages and driving high levels of community engagement
  • Strong data-driven background
  • Experience in working within budgets and deadlines
  • Competent in all MS Office tools

Desirable: 

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree in marketing or related field desirable but not essential. It’s your proven experience that will count the most! 
  • Knowledge of, or experience in using platforms and tools such as Maropost, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Mailchimp, all social media platforms and content scheduling platforms 
  • Understanding of and/or experience in SEO

Candidates for the Digital Marketing Manager role will also benefit from previous experience in a management/leadership role.
