Moving millions of people needs the skill and commitment of a talented workforce.The RoleThe Digital Workplace Officer is responsible for supporting PTA divisions in their creation and maintenance of content as it is required for PTA’s SharePoint Online intranet. This role proactively works with divisional representatives in maintaining and updating corporate content, identifying requirements and building solutions to meet business needs. The role is also expected to provide effective end user support and system administration to other Corporate Information Systems as required.This is a fixed term appointment up to 31 January 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in system administration and support of an intranet (preferably SharePoint Online).
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and present effective training programs.
- A relevant qualification, certification or equivalent practical experience in information management, information technology or digital communications.
- Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to provide appropriate advice, training and high-quality customer service.
- A demonstrated ability to respond and behave calmly in stressful and frustrating situations, providing high quality customer service.
- An ability to work effectively and productively in a team environment and provide assistance and support for Business Systems Analysts.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups with the ability to analyse different inputs and validate complex issues.
- Experience with diagnosing technical issues, and providing innovative, flexible, responsive and efficient user support.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to consider different parts of an issue and work through them in a systematic way while considering the pros and cons, implications and consequences.
- Sound planning and organising skills including strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise tasks and to cope with competing demands and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively, displaying a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
