The Opportunity
Ryan Road Childcare & Swim School has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Diploma level Educator to join our incredible team on a permanent basis!
As an integral part of the Mayfield team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring child safety & wellbeing using your active supervision skills.
- Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
- Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.
- Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
- Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
- Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to Early Childhood education.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.
You
- Working towards or hold a minimum of a Diploma in ECEC (of ACECQA approved equivalent).
- Valid WWCC.
- Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willing to obtain).
- Working knowledge & understanding of Child Safe Standards.
- Working knowledge & understanding of NQF & EYLF.
- Passion for the Early Childhood sector - you will enjoy communicating with and building trusted relationships with children, their families, your teammates and the wider community.
