Latrobe Early Learning is a well-respected Early Learning Service located in Latrobe situated on the North West of Tasmania, offering care to children aged 0-5 years. Dedicated to providing quality educational care, interactive learning, and natural outdoor environments, we are looking to offer the right individual a traineeship to complete their Diploma in Education and Care. You will have already completed your Certificate 3 in Education and Care 2018 onwards.

Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver a curriculum founded on the Service's philosophy whilst following the National Quality Standards and Regulations.
Create positive learning environments, including resources based on child-directed learning.
Develop strategies to guide positive children's behaviour.
Build good, open communication with children, families, and staff.
Observe and record children's growth, development and behaviour using electronic portfolios.
Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic, and safe.
You will need:
An approved ACECQA Certificate of Early Childhood Education and Care 2018 onwards.
Good organisational and teamwork skills.
Has sound written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop respectful relationships with children and positively manage groups of children.
A good level of computer literacy.
Current First Aid Certificate with anaphylaxis and asthma training.
Tasmanian Working with Children Card.
A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.
Experience working in an Early Childhood setting.

Conditions
- Part-time position across 3 or 4 days per week.
- 2 % above the hourly rate - Modern Children's Services Award 2010.
