SalaryThe ACT Government is planning to introduce Activity Based Funding to the health portfolio in July 2025. We are looking for a capable Director to help make it happen.

The Activity Based Management project has a strong focus on governance and strategy – the successful candidate will need to be able to think about and provide advice on how the public hospital system should work in the future. However the role will also require technical skills and the ability to, for example, analyse the cost effectiveness of the public hospital system. The role will also supervise two senior officers and we are looking for someone who can lead and motivate.
We are open to candidates from diverse backgrounds. You may be a clinician who is interested in a change, a public policy or finance expert - if you can make the case that you can help deliver a major reform to the health system then we want to hear from you!
Note: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
