Our ‘One team, One purpose’ philosophy underpins our unique culture and the way we work together at the Future Fund Management Agency (“Agency”). This philosophy extends into all aspects of our organisation and guides how and why we do what we do.
The Agency’s risk management model includes business partners who support risk owners to manage the risks they own. Enterprise Risks are all the risks (other than Portfolio Risks) facing the organisation and the achievement of its purpose and strategy, including risks in our investment and non-investment processes. Business units own, and are accountable for managing, Enterprise Risks and Portfolio Risks, with support from the Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Risk functions respectively.

The role also serves as a key subject matter expert to advise and consult on risks across the end-to-end investment process, including Investment Operations and Investment Data Management.
The Enterprise Risk Business Partnering function supports business units to identify, assess, and manage their risk and control environment in line with Agency frameworks, policies and Board risk appetite. It also provides advice and constructive challenge to business decisions and activities.
The Director, Enterprise Risk (Investment) will be responsible for supporting the Investment team processes around resilience of critical business operations, investment due diligence, transaction implementation and reporting, use of key models and related data management/usage, delegations/authorisation adherence, contribution to the Agency’s key cross-functional processes and relating to investment manager appointment/management processes.
Key Responsibilities
As Director, Enterprise Risk (Investment), you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy to support the Investment team, including collaborating with the team to ensure seamless delivery of ER support, facilitating risk forums, and providing advisory services.
You will also be responsible for the development and management of risk appetite, assessing the Investment team’s risk profile, advising on control design and overseeing control assurance, handling incident management, and contributing to organisational resilience.
