About the Town of Bassendean
The Town of Bassendean is a small local government that sits along side the Derbarl Yerrigan on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people. We employ around 150 staff in diverse teams of dedicated people who are committed to delivering a wide range of services to our community. The Team
The Town’s Infrastructure and Sustainability Directorate is dedicated to high standards of service delivery for the community. We contribute to the Town’s strategic objectives through the protection, enhancement and development of the Town’s infrastructure assets and natural environment. We achieve this through applying best practice, with a continuous improvement approach, focussed on customer service and a safety-first culture.
The Individual.
Will have a passion for the development of INFRASTRUCTURE AND the environment and demonstrated experience in the delivery of projects with executive level leadership experience.
Will hold tertiary qualifications and have experience in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Construction Management (Formal Nationally Recognised), Project Management or Commerce.
Can demonstrate effective experience in stakeholder engagement with the ability to motivate teams and manage positive change whilst contributing to the strategic outcomes of the organisation.

Salary and Benefits
This Fixed Term Full-time position, attracts a salary of $170,000 to $190,000 per annum plus superannuation.
Working Hours
This is an Executive role, which is a member of the Town’s Leadership Team and will be required to attend after hours meetings and events on some weekends.
