Director, Listed Assets Technology - Future Fund Management Agency
The Opportunity:
Join us as the Director of Listed Assets Technology, a key role responsible for shaping and delivering advanced technology and data solutions for our Investment Teams focused on Listed Assets. In this position, you will leverage the diverse capabilities of our Investment Business Operations, including Investment Operations, Technology, Organisational Enablement, and Investment Data Management. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of investment processes and a talent for merging them with supporting business functions to drive strategic technology initiatives.
This role is open to APS employees only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and maintain a strategic technology and data roadmap in alignment with our long-term business goals. Work closely with Investment Teams and IBO to define and prioritize necessary technology and data solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Investment Teams and IBO members, ensuring high satisfaction with our technology and data solutions.
- Initiative Development and Execution: Define, develop, and oversee the implementation of technology solutions to meet the Investment Team's needs. Ensure these solutions are secure, reliable, and align with our strategic goals.
- Resource and Work Management: Efficiently plan and manage resources, emphasizing cross-functional teamwork, quality delivery, and adherence to standard methodologies.
- People Leadership: Attract and maintain a high-performing team, focusing on development, motivation, and embedding the agency's culture.
- Policy and Standards Contribution: Develop and maintain standards and procedures for business engagement, delivery reporting, and solution support. Ensure alignment with broader technology and IBO strategies.
About You:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Commerce, or related field. Finance/technology certifications (e.g., CFA, PMP) are desirable.
- Experience: Proven experience in delivering complex technology and data analytics solutions, in investment management. Strong experience in managing diverse teams and complex projects.
- Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, ability to work in complex environments, and proficiency in managing various technology solutions.
- Characteristics: A strategic thinker who is adaptable, committed to quality, and capable of leading teams towards innovative solutions.
