DIRECTOR OF BOARDING
As a great Australian boarding school, at the heart of the Churchie resides a vibrant Years 7 to 12 residential community that has been the central and enduring feature of the School since foundation. Boys from all over rural, regional, and metropolitan Australia, and beyond, have long given the School its unique character that continues to enrich the fabric in our educational community.
An outstanding opportunity presents for a dynamic and experienced Director of Boarding to lead our boarding community of students, staff, and parents into the future. This opportunity would be ideal for an established, dedicated, educational and boarding leader to grow further in pursuit of a distinguished career in the education of boys.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor degree in Education or relevant qualifications (postgraduate study would also be well regarded)
- Demonstrable experience in, and commitment to, the pastoral oversight and development of adolescent boys
- Proven experience in teaching and leadership roles within an educational institution
- Strong understanding of leading and developing a team of residential and day-school educators and specialist boarding staff
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build a strong rapport with all members of the boarding and wider School communities.
The School would prefer a commencement date of Monday 8 July 2024, however, this is negotiable.
