The team:
The Board Director is a member of the YellowBridge Qld Board of Directors. The position works with the CEO to set the strategic direction for YellowBridge Qld consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, Values and Purpose. The Board of Directors guides and supports the organisation to deliver on its strategic initiatives, through strong governance and agile decision making.
The role and you:
YellowBridge QLD Ltd. is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee, and responsible for managing and administering a range of home and community care programs, community housing programs, and disability programs. In this position you will work with the CEO and other members of the Board to set the strategic direction of the organisation, establish a strong governance framework, oversee risk management strategy and manage key relationships with stakeholders and partners.
The Board of Directors meets monthly and you will be required to prepare for and attend these meetings as part of your role.
Position Requirements:
- Clinical background, ideally you will have knowledge of Aged Care services with a clinical perspective
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in leading and managing strategy at an organisational level
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislative requirements, including organisational governance principles and risk management
- Demonstrated significant experience in a leadership position in your field of expertise
- High level skills in relationship management including the ability to build relationships at all levels and across all stakeholder groups
- Any further skills or training you hold in the aged care sector would be advantageous.
