We help to provide Victorians with quality oral healthcare through The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM) and by purchasing dental services for public patients from more than 50 community health agencies throughout Victoria. Overview about the role:Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Building Services Management provides leadership and direction to DHSV’s Technical Services and Facilities team.The position is responsible for the oversight of operations within the facilities and technical services departments as well as planning, development, and delivery of DHSV’s Infrastructure services including capital projects and the provision of capital project planning to support our community oral health agency network.Key responsibilities include:- Facilities management- Planned and reactive maintenance activities- Environmental services and security- Continuous monitoring of the performance of the buildings we occupy- Contractor management- Contract management- Design and delivery of capital refresh programAbout you: Tertiary qualifications in Infrastructure and Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field with a strong background in mechanical engineering.Experience with ensuring timely and effective delivery of capital works and operational projects through good planning, effective monitoring, and reporting.Be able to have oversight of the entire building.Strong experience and expertise in managing Infrastructure functions.Experience with working in and maintaining a large multi-story building (does not need to be multi-site).
