About the RoleVCAT is looking for an experienced people leader to lead our
Support Services operations. This is a significant opportunity to help shape the future of how provides support and guidance to Tribunal users that may have diverse and/or complex needs.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Community Access Services, the
Support Services Manager will lead the
Support Services teams in the provision of accessible services to the Victorian community.This is a demanding role in a unique service delivery envioronment.
Support Services comprises of family/personal violence, disability liaison and Koori support.All of these teams provide assistance to VCAT users that may have additional needs and require a more specialised level of support.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- experience in leadership and people management within a complex customer centric environment.
- an understanding of the issues faced by Tribunal users with diverse and complex needs and how to provide the support that they require.
- experience in successfully building important relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to provide authoritative advice on a range operational matters that may impact your team and /or Tribunal users.
The
Support Services Manager role is designed to provide management and leadership support within our
Support Services Group for a 12-month period, with the possibility of extension or an ongoing opportunity.
