Director Of Care

We are recruiting for a nurturing manager who can inspire and lead a team from the front managing day today clinical operations.
  
Rare opportunity due to the well-deserved retirement of the previous Director of Care who had been with this medium sized home for a number of years.
  
This facility has an excellent reputation and enjoys strong local community links and high occupancy demand. Working alongside a friendly team of RNs, Lifestyle Coordinator and an experienced Care Coordinator who all have a long-standing tenure with the home.
  
Reporting into a roving General Manager who progressed from a Director of Care position within the organisation, you will feel understood and well-supported across all aspects of the home.
  
You must have:

• A current Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years as an aged care facility manager
• Demonstrate a stable track record of employment
• Interpersonal skills and effective communication with staff and residents
• Inspires and drives teams to deliver person centred care
• Genuine care with ability to nurture and mentor staff
• Good understanding of the accreditation process and Aged Care Standards
• Strong business acumen with proven ability at meeting organisational KPIs
