The role
The Director of Corporate Services is accountable for leading and managing the Foundation's financial strategic objectives; to effectively manage the overall financial resources and to ensure legislative compliance, including the delivery of management reporting; overseeing audit activities; and ensuring compliance to all statutory and governance requirements.
Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and CEO, the Director of Corporate Services is responsible for assisting the various reporting areas in overseeing their financial activities and partnering with the business to deliver financial objectives and meeting their financial KPI’s.
The role also oversees the Information and Technology responsibilities as well as the organisation’s overall risk management activities, including assisting the Board and CEO manage the various organisational risks.
This role has the flexibility to be between 0.8 FTE and 1.0 FTE and is based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane.

Key criteria
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Appropriate under-graduate / post-graduate qualification and current membership of CA or CPA
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a Finance Controller role, or five (5) years in senior financial management role reporting to CEO, responsible for the full finance function
- Strong skills in corporate financial management with experience in reporting to Board level and managing the audit process
- Strong track record in providing processes, forecasts and analysis to support the CEO and EMT in strategic and annual planning that requires FARM and Board approval
- Demonstrated experience managing an outsourced IT provider and services
- Demonstrated experience in managing an effective risk & compliance program including managing the compliance reporting framework for the Executive Management Team and the Board
