The Bayside Health Service, part of Metro South Health has an exciting permanent opportunity for a Director of Nursing and Midwifery. This position is based in Cleveland on Brisbane’s beautiful bayside. The Director of Nursing and Midwifery (DNM) provides high level contemporary strategic, operational and professional Nursing and Midwifery leadership and management for the Bayside Health Service.

About the Role
The Director of Nursing and Midwifery (DNM) provides high level contemporary strategic, operational and professional Nursing and Midwifery leadership and management for the Bayside Health Service. The role provides the coordination of and is accountable for service delivery, human and material management, clinical expertise to the health care team, communication, highly developed data analysis and fiscal management to deliver safe, quality, effective and efficient healthcare provision.
The position also shapes corporate and clinical governance in partnership with the Bayside Health Service Executive Director (ED) and the Bayside executive team. The DNM works collaboratively with the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services (EDNMS), Metro South Health professionally and operationally, in delivering the strategic direction, vision and Health Service priorities for the Bayside Health Service. This position will have delegated responsibilities to support the ED Bayside and the EDNMS, MSHHS.
