Permanent Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight

Are you ready for a new challenge? Maryborough District Health Service is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee the Nursing Home and Hostel at the Avoca campus. Work in the picturesque community of Avoca with a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team, with a focus on providing high quality care. The Avoca Director of Nursing will have operational accountability and responsibility for the overall leadership and management of the Avoca Campus.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Post Graduate Qualifications in Nursing (preferably gerontology)
• Demonstrated experience at a senior management level in health
• Basic Life Support Certificate

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

Qualifications:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Post Graduate Qualifications in Nursing (preferably gerontology)

Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills

• Demonstrated experience at a senior management level in health
• In depth knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, funding, accreditation framework and policies
