About the role
The Director of NursingMental Health provides contemporary professional and strategic nursing governance and leadership for South West Healthcare Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.
This involves the coordination and responsibility for professional nursing leadership functions including senior nursing advice for service delivery, workforce planning, human and resource management, healthcare team communication, data analysis and healthcare performance.
This role works as a part of the Senior Leadership Team and will support the Service to transform and grow in order to achieve strategic priorities.
Position overview
Full time (40 hours per week with monthly ADO), On-going position
Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 7
Salary Range: $178,521.20 per annum, plus superannuation
This position may be eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).
What you bring
You will be Registered Psychiatric Nurse who holds a post graduate diploma in psychiatric/Mental Health nursing or has completed a specialist undergraduate psychiatric/Mental Health nursing program.
You can demonstrate a strong commitment to the Mental Health sector while being flexible, resilient and knowledgeable of contemporary nursing practice and process management.
Strong communication skills and an awareness of self that facilitates engagement, innovation, resilience and accountability within nursing teams and across the multidisciplinary care setting.
