AddressRedstone are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to join a medium sized not for profit aged care provider in Pakenham.
As the Director of Nursing you will be responsible for overseeing the full clinical operations of the home while also managing nursing staff to ensure the highest standard of resident care is being provided.
About the Role
- Monday - Friday position with WFH options!!
- Fully accredited until 2026
- Quality and Education team in place
- IPC Lead within the home
- Medium sized home with extensive support in place
- Small memory support unit within the home
- Very experienced NUMS in place
- Rostered day off every month
- On call is rostered which will be required once every 5th week
- Full salary sacrificing benefits - Up to $15900 in approved household expenses
- Very supportive organisation with lovely supportive team in place
- High occupancy levels within the home
- AHPRA Registration is Essential
- Experience in a DON role within Aged Care is essential
- Previous experience in the Acute setting highly desirable
- Excellent leadership skills
- Outgoing and Energetic personality
- Up to date with the changing environment of Aged Care
- Great understanding of aged care legislation
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal
- Organized and an ability to use online systems
