Sharp and Carter are representing a local authority in SEQ that are looking for an experienced Director/Senior Manager/Head of Technology within their Workplace Services Division.

Sharp and Carter are working in partnership with a South East Queensland Local Government Authority Technology division to secure the services of a talented Application leader.
The technology division supports and enables this organisations day to day activities and services through efficient, flexible and innovative Technology solutions.
The Role
The Director/Senior Manager/Head of Technology plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the delivery of stable, highly available, and secure core ICT services for both change and operational environments. In addition, this position involves taking ownership of critical service management processes that cater to application portfolios, along with overseeing outsourced providers and complex vendor relationships.
The successful candidate will have full responsibility of End User Computing, Deskside and AV support, Service Centre Radio & Telecommunications, Operational Observability, Transition to operations, change and release management.
In relation to specific deliverables for your role you will:
- Foster a motivated, efficient, and customer-centric workforce.
- Implement systems and processes that provide value to both the organisation and the customer.
- Strategically plan service resourcing with effective risk management to meet demand within budget constraints.
- Encourage collaboration and shared accountability across organisational boundaries to ensure consistent and seamless delivery, directing resources toward corporate priorities.
- Engage in strategic decision-making and act as a representative of our client to the community, other levels of government, and industry.

The ideal candidate will have the following key knowledge, experience, and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Masters in IT or a relevant field, or relevant experience
- ITIL certification or relevant experience
- Agile certification or relevant experience.
