About the role
Grampians Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Procurement and Supply Chain to join our dynamic team. The Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing and developing our procurement, warehouse, Supply Chain and fleet management functions, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance and optimal value for money.
This leadership position requires a strategic thinker who can provide expert advice, drive innovation and foster strong relationships within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and align the Grampians Health procurement framework and governance model.
- Lead the development and implementation of procurement sourcing and contracting strategies.
- Ensure integrity and probity in all sourcing and contracting activities.
- Review and maintain Grampians Health Procurement and Supply Chain policies.
- Oversee systems and processes supporting purchasing activities.
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Experience delivering innovative procurement solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Procurement and Supply Chain logistics.
- Strong analytical, document preparation and negotiation skills.
- Experience autonomously handling procurement matters.
