Job DescriptionYour New Role
We’ve redesigned our Corporate Affairs and Engagement team to better support our projects and our business, as well as provide more opportunities for our people to grow and develop.
This means change in the way we are structured, the way we work and new leadership opportunities across the team.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Corporate Affairs & Engagement, the new role of Director Reputation, Content and Marketing will lead a multi-disciplinary team to promote and safeguard Development Victoria's reputation and brand.
The team will create compelling content, executing marketing campaigns, establishing a robust digital and media footprint and nurture vital stakeholder connections within both industry, government and media spheres.
Please note - This is a fixed term position available for a period of up to 5 years.
Core Accountabilities
- Lead a diverse team in executing marketing, brand, digital, and media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Develop framework for issues management and corporate reputation enhancement.
- Manage organisation wide stakeholder engagement.
- Provide oversight of Development Victoria’s marketing activities that support Development Victoria’s housing portfolio.
- Leadership and management of Development Victoria’s digital channels including social media and website.
- Collaborate with Senior Leaders to promote initiatives through sponsorships and industry ties.
- Provide strong leadership to Corporate Affairs & Engagement team, fostering high performance and collaboration.
- Execute communication plans positioning Development Victoria as community creators.
- Cultivate internal relationships for proactive communication and issue management.
About You
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in journalism, public relations, communications, or a relevant field is required.
- Extensive experience in senior communications, corporate affairs, marketing and/or brand development and management
- Proficient in a broad range of communication, media and engagement skills
- Independent management and experience in providing strategic advice on high-profile projects, preferably in infrastructure or construction.
- Experience collaborating with different government levels.
- Proficiency in community and stakeholder engagement.
- Leadership experience.
- Experience in management of high-profile stakeholders
