- Whilst not mandatory, possession of relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s, particularly in law, public administration and/or business will be highly regarded.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Demonstrated highly developed skills in successful organisational capability development, governance, compliance and strategy and in leading a team of professionals within a large, diverse and complex environment.
- Demonstrated ability to innovatively and successfully implement best practice, quality management principles, benchmarks, systems, and processes relevant to all aspects of organisational performance in the areas of strategy, governance and legal risk management, within a government environment.
- Demonstrated applied knowledge of the concepts, strategies and issues associated with public sector corporate management, and the demonstrated skills to provide expert strategic advice and solutions to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of professionals to develop and maintain a system of enterprise risk management through high quality, expert advice and services.
- Demonstrated high level problem-solving, analytical and evaluation skills, particularly in relation to corporate management, business development, service improvement and organisational strategy, governance and renewal.
- Superior level of skill in communicating, consulting and negotiating at the organisational level, and in cultivating effective and influential relationships, in particular, building trust and confidence with a wide range of stakeholders.
