How you'll make a difference:
The role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of statewide and regional service and capital plans, working collaboratively with the Victorian Health Building Authority and System Planning Division to integrate mental health planning and system reforms in broader system, service and infrastructure planning. The Director will also lead strategic advice on service and infrastructure investment options, to ensure they enable transformed service models, and support the reform objectives of the department; and lead the development of evidence-based analysis and planning to inform commissioning and investment proposals for new and transformed services.
The Director will build effective links across teams in the unit, branch and division to ensure that planning supports implementation of key reforms and future system design. The Director will develop and maintain strong relationships with sector partners, other Department of Health Divisions and Victorian Government departments.
