AddressThe Tax Transformation & Managed Service team was established to support the growth of KPMG’s tax service offerings. The aim of the team is to drive the implementation of internal and external initiatives, ensuring high quality on-going services are provided to our clients. The role will work within the Tax Transformation and Managed Services business under the direction of the Tax Transformation and Managed Services partner in charge.
Your Opportunity
In this pivotal leadership role within our Tax Transformation & Managed Services team, you will work across KPMG, engaging internally and externally with clients, taking on diverse and complex challenges with an agile approach to work. We are looking for professionals with experience in Tax Managed Service environments and possessing the skills expected at an experienced level to deliver. As part of the transformation team, this role will support the main goal of undertaking the growth of our Tax and Legal Managed Service business for our Australia client base beyond its current capabilities. You will have expert ability to:
- Identify opportunities for new managed service businesses and identify the potential business implications and underpinning financials associated to costs and growth
- Support the solution design and develop the plan to execute across the people, process, operations and technology aspects of the service
- Successful delivery of managed service projects in a project management role
- Engage across many levels of the client organisation and the ability to confidently interface across KPMG including the business and ITS
- Support business development activities and other market facing activities that contribute to the winning of new engagements that support our clients to deliver their transformational objectives.

- You are a people-person with a love of sharing your Tax Transformation and Managed Services insight and tailoring your communication appropriately for subject matter experts and clients who want to learn more, as well as negotiation.
- You are tuned in to business development opportunities, with confidence creating effective sales material including proposals, case studies, and other sector-specific material, you will also support the broader transformation team agenda, have a solid grasp of technology coupled with strong communication, writing and power point skills.
- You are commercially astute with strong financial acumen and ability to develop business case financials and estimate implementation and transition costs as part of the BD process.

- Demonstrated experience as a Managed Services Architect.
- Experience defining and establishing Managed Services to meet specific business needs preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong Managed Service business acumen and be capable of understanding all aspects of establishing a managed service including process definition, technology enablement and the people aspect of service delivery capability.
- Understanding of how to operationally run the managed service delivering to defined targets such as SLA’s and KPI’s.
