About the opportunity: Reporting to the Corporate Treasury function and indirectly to the Senior Director Finance Australia, this role is responsible for management and oversight of the Australia Treasury function. This includes debt and liquidity management, transactional banking, risk management (FX, Interest Rate), compliance, policy, and cash accounting and reconciliation activities. As the leader of the Treasury function for Australia, you will be responsible for the performance of the large team of direct and indirect reports. You will be an excellent communicator and relationships builder, maintaining effective relationships with the Australian Commerical Network, as well as internal and external stakeholders including banks, services providers, outside advisor, external auditors and regulatory bodies The role also has a strategic lens, with a focus on cash flow forecasting and ongoing optimisation, together with development of tactical and structural initiatives to improve liquidity, working capital, and risk management throughout the business. To be successful in this role you will have: Significant relevant experience at a Director/Senior Management level within the Treasury function of a global organisation or reputable accounting/consulting firm Ability to operate effectively in a multinational matrix environment, contributing to the success and effectiveness of the Treasury CoE, while also collaborating with the local business to facilitate relevant and timely Treasury compliance, support, and advice In-depth knowledge of Australia treasury/economics, tax, AML legislation and policy In-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting Ability to collaborate with and influence decision makers across the organization Inspirational people leader, able to engage a workforce and develop people to their greatest ability Strong business orientation/business acumen and keen analytical skills Strong ability to utilise systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, 3rd party Transactional Banking Platforms) Why work for us?  Competitive salary and benefits package Purchased leave scheme benefits An additional day of leave – Nutrien Day A supportive, flexible, and engaging environment that will support personal/professional development Opportunities to support community partnerships across our network Be a member of a company committed to feeding the future Ongoing training and development to pursue individual ambitions A culture of learning!
