Disability Policy Advisor

• We are looking for a highly motivated person to fill the role of Disability Policy Advisor in the Office of the Hon. Kate Washington MP, NSW Minister for Disability Inclusion.
• The successful candidate will require a strong interest, understanding and background in public policy and disability inclusion, and an understanding of the NSW political system. 
• This is a full-time ongoing role which is based at 52 Martin Place, Sydney.

• You are able to provide sound policy analysis and advice on current, evolving and emerging issues.
•  You are able to draft accurate and detailed correspondence, speaking notes and other written material.

• You think strategically to navigate the varying interests of a range of stakeholders.
• You are adaptable, resilient and agile, and able to contribute to a small, fast-paced team. 
• You are flexible and willing to travel and work outside normal hours as required.

Salary

To be negotiated based on skill and experience.
